Bring a friend
One friend at a time.
Three rungs, and you climb them one friend at a time. The first changes what your licence can do, the next two change what everything costs, and after that it starts paying you.
Which tool gets the second computer?
It is chosen once and does not move afterwards, so pick the one you actually carry between machines.
The three rungs
Each one is kept once you reach it. The ladder never goes back down.
Two computers, both of you
Every tool here runs on one machine at a time. When your first friend buys, you each pick one tool that stops working that way — the laptop and the desk machine, both at once. It is chosen once and it never expires.
Friend 1 · permanentA cheaper shelf for a season
The second and third open three months where everything here is 10% off — the same three months for them as for you, so the tool they nearly bought is suddenly worth buying.
Friends 2 & 3 · 3 monthsWhere it turns into income
From the fourth friend on, a twentieth of everything they spend lands in your account for a year — each friend with their own twelve months. Each one also restarts your three months.
Friend 4 onward · 12 monthsThe whole thing, in one table
Every friend, what it gives each of you, and how long it lasts.

How it works
- Copy your link. It only exists once you have an account — it carries your name, not a code.
- Your friend opens it, tries the tool, and buys the one they need.
- They buy. Fourteen days later, when their refund window closes, that friend counts and whatever rung it reaches opens.
Spending your Easy credit
- Up to 80% of an order. The last fifth is always paid — on a $20 tool, credit covers $16 and you pay $4.
- Not on orders of $10 or less. Four fifths off a ten dollar tool is not a discount, it is the tool for nothing — so on the small ones credit waits for a bigger purchase. It is the order that is measured, so a tool already deep in a sale counts as a small one.
- Anything above that line, including tools that have not shipped yet.
- It lasts six months from the day each piece of it arrives, and it is used only when you tick the box at checkout.
- It is not cash and is not paid out. If the purchase behind it is refunded, it comes back.
The rules, in full
- You earn when they pay, not when they sign up.
- Each rung is kept once you reach it.
- A refunded purchase takes back whatever it gave.
- Your own second account is not a friend.
- One person can only ever be counted once.
- Ten friends a month count on their own; more are released after we look.
- The second and third friend do not make it six months — three, from the first of them.
- The 10% is not added to another offer — whichever is better wins.
- Credit covers up to 80% of an order; the last fifth is always paid.
- Credit is not used on an order of $10 or less, however it got there.
- The rate rises at twenty friends and again at fifty, and never past 10%.
- The tool that gains a second computer is chosen once.
- Someone who already owns a tool cannot be referred for it.
