Our vision

Easy is not a style.
It is a measurement.

A designer opens the same file, does the same twenty minutes of work, and closes it. Then does it again tomorrow. None of those twenty minutes is design. That is the part we take.

The measurement

If it costs more to learn than it saves, it failed.

an hour to learn

Settings to be right about first, a manual, a video, a way of working you have to adopt before anything happens.

twenty minutes saved

One button, the first time you open it, on the file you were already stuck on.

That trade is a loss, and we would rather not have shipped it. Every tool here is measured against the hour it replaces — not against what a competitor's panel can list on a marketplace page.

Where the name comes from

One job, a thousand times.

Easy Bilingual exists because of a job every Arab designer has done a thousand times: a finished design in English that has to exist in Arabic by tomorrow. The layout is done. The typography is done. And you rebuild all of it by hand, layer by layer, in the other direction, because the two languages do not agree about length or which way a line runs.

There is no craft in that hour. It is the same hour every time. So it became one button, and the name became the standard: if the next tool is not easy in that same literal sense — one press, no manual, no setup — it is not finished.

“Not the thinking, not the taste, not the decisions. The repetition around them.”
The whole brief since the first tool

The refusals

What we will not do.

Three of them, and they are older than the company. A tool that breaks one of these does not ship.

We will not decide for you

A tool that guesses is a tool you have to check, and checking costs more than doing. When ours cannot be certain, it says so and leaves the work alone.

We will not touch your files quietly

Your artwork is your business. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is read for training, and nothing happens to a document that the panel did not tell you it was doing.

We will not rent you what you bought

A licence is a purchase. It does not expire because a month ended, and the price you paid is the price you paid.

Where this goes

More tools, on the same terms.

Shipping

Photoshop

The first tools, on the work that happens in a still frame: type, layout, and the same job in the other language.

Being written

Illustrator

Artboards, exports, and the one layout that has to exist eleven ways by Thursday.

Premiere & After Effects

Timelines, comps and renders. The repetition in motion work is worse than in stills, and less has been done about it.

Which hour is yours?

Each tool is aimed at a specific hour that a specific person is sick of. Most of what exists here started as somebody's complaint.
