The story

We make it easy.
That is the whole company.

Easy Studio builds plugins for Adobe apps that take the repetition out of a designer's day — the parts that are not design, just labour. The name is not a mood. It is the specification.

20× faster, at the very least
1 tool on the shelf
6 jobs it does for you
0 files that leave your machine

The whole idea, in one picture

The hour is the product.

Take any job a designer repeats. Time it by hand. Then time it with the tool. The gap between those two bars is the only thing we sell.

By hand clicking, matching, checking, again
an hour of your day

20× is the floor, not the headline. On the jobs that used to take a whole afternoon it is far more than that — and the difference is not that you work faster. It is that you stop doing that part at all.

Where it started

I have been doing this since 2013.

I am Hossam Gamal, an art director, and Easy Studio began as a complaint rather than a company. Thirteen years in, you stop guessing which parts of the week are design and which parts are only labour. You know. Moving text into boxes. Matching a font that is already sitting in the file. Rebuilding a finished layout in the other language because tomorrow it has to exist in the other language.

That work is not difficult. It is heavy. It takes the hours, it takes the attention, and it takes the part of you that was meant to go into the idea — and after enough days of it you do not need a faster shortcut. You need to stop, close the laptop and switch off for a while, which is time the work already took from you once.

So the question was never “what could we sell”. It was: if this hour is the same hour every single time, why is a person still doing it — and could all of those hours live in one place, for any creative, not only for me. That is the whole beginning of it. Anything that answers that question is worth building. Anything that does not, is not.

“If a tool saves you twenty minutes and costs an hour to learn, it failed. We would rather not have shipped it.”
Hossam Gamal Art director, founder

What the name means

What “easy” has to mean.

Not an easy button. An easier life. Easy means your whole day as a creative gets lighter — the evening you get back, the attention you still have left at the end of it, and the part of the job that was actually design. A tool here only earns the name if the day is easier, not just the click.

Underneath that promise there are four tests. A tool passes all four or it goes back on the bench.

One press

The tool has a button. The button does the job. There is no step two, no wizard, no settings you have to be right about first.

No manual

If it needs explaining, it needs rebuilding. You should be able to open it for the first time and finish the job in the same minute.

No setup

Install it and it is there. No accounts inside the panel, no folders to prepare, nothing to configure before the first run.

No surprises

It never edits what it was not asked to. When it cannot be certain, it stops and says so instead of guessing on your artwork.

How a tool gets made

Nothing here was guessed.

Every tool walks the same four steps, in this order, and the third one is where most of them lose a month.

01

A complaint

Every tool starts as somebody being sick of an hour. Not a market gap — a specific hour, that a specific designer does every week.

02

Studied to death

We take the hour apart by hand first, until we know every decision inside it and which ones are judgement and which are just labour.

03

Broken on the worst file

Then it meets the ugliest real files we can find. If it survives those, the tidy ones were never going to be the problem.

04

And it keeps learning

Every release knows more than the last: more words, more shapes, more of the strange things designers actually do. It gets better while you own it.

Why it is not on a marketplace

Some of this exists nowhere else.

Work nobody else has written

Whole jobs — Arabic and English living in one layout, in both directions — that no panel on any marketplace does at all. Not done better. Not done anywhere.

It reads your file, not a template

The tools look at what is actually in the document — the layers, the type, the structure — instead of demanding you build the document their way first.

Nothing leaves your machine

Your artwork is not uploaded, not read for training, not seen by us. The work happens inside the app, on your own computer.

Bought, not rented

A licence is a purchase. It does not expire because a month ended, and updates do not cost extra.

On the shelf today

A start, and a long list behind it.

What exists now is the first of a much larger set — fast, small, each one pointed at a different hour.

Where this goes

Three shelves, one at a time.

Shipping

Photoshop

Easy Bilingual — Arabic and English, both directions, in one pass.

Being written

Illustrator

The same jobs, on the still work that is not a photograph: artboards, exports, the one layout that has to exist eleven ways.

Premiere & After Effects

Timelines, comps and renders. The repetition in motion work is worse than the repetition in stills, and less has been done about it.

Try it on the file you are stuck on.

Three days, everything unlocked, no card. If it does not save you the hour, you have lost nothing but the download.
